In the last one year, a lot of learning-based apps have digitalized the education system. Online education applications make it easier to access, and understand various concepts in comparison to books and traditional classroom lectures. The Covid-19 pandemic compelled the students to stay at home and manage their education virtually, which led to an increase in demand for such applications by 200%.

Our customer is a fast-growing learning app for students who look for an unconventional method of learning at an affordable price. As they are scaling rapidly since the last one year, the customer decided to scale their business and look for opportunities that would help them in achieving their desired targets in a short period of time.

GigIndia partnered with the learning app to escalate their demo bookings by ensuring that only quality leads were approached for the process. The primary object was to schedule potential demos that could get converted into sales.

Strategy

Within 7 business days, GigIndia appointed trusted telesales giggers from different parts of India to carry out the gig with utmost efficiency. These Giggers were exclusively curated on the basis of their past performances in successful gigs. Once curated, they were intensively trained about the services offered by the app and the intent that was required to fulfil through outbound calling. Since target audiences were sophisticated in terms of decision making, the sales process was very guiding and supportive in nature so that parents and children get proper mentorship rather than blunt sales activities.

Execution

Our customer shared their prospective leads with us so that GigIndia could activate and convince them into signing for a free demo. During the pilot month, GigIndia analysed that most students that had the potential to convert were up for registering for a free demo because of the lucrative offering at no cost. Out of the total number of leads contacted, around 75% of the prospects showed positive interest in booking a time slot for the app demo.

Results:

3. MoM Sales growth- 30%

4. Upgrade from free demo to paid courses: 44% upgraded subscription
