Standing With Our Giggers During The Toughest Phase of Covid-19
The second surge of the Covid-19 pandemic has brought in more trauma than the first one. Every time we check our social media feeds, news channels, and newspapers, we are swamped with subjects revolving around personal loss, suffering, and pain. While some of us are fortunate to have the protection of our humble abode and the love of our families with all the facilities that we can need at this tough hour, some people are in dire need of help and medical aid just to save their life and of those in need.
Due to the difficult times we are in, we at GigIndia in partnership with Plum, have decided to issue a COVID-19 Health Insurance cover to help all our active Giggers cope with medical expenses caused due to the pandemic.
This free insurance benefit will cover around ₹3 lakhs of expenditure that can be utilized by our dedicated workforce to cope up with the negative repercussion (like emergencies) that the current situation may leave them with.
We have always believed in nurturing our community of Giggers with compassion and in lieu of this, we are also launching a Ketto fundraiser campaign of ₹10 lakhs to support the Giggers who are severely affected.
*Please note that this fund will be used to cover the medical bills for very specific Giggers, the ones who need it the most.
For every ₹1 contributed to the fundraiser, GigIndia will donate ₹1 — up to a total of ₹5 lakhs- collectively, raising ₹10 lakhs for our Giggers.
