Recap from the round21 RareBalls Genesis drop

First — big thank you to everyone that showed up early to the round21 RareBall Genesis drop!

The drop

We ran into a few issues with the drop so we wanted to recap what happened and what we’re going to do next.

1. The post-purchase routing sent you to a non-functioning page. We were able to patch this one up quickly and most didn’t experience this.
2. As many of folks in Discord correctly noticed, there was an issue with the randomization within the packs.

Once we confirmed the randomization issue, we made the decision to pause the drop until we could reevaluate and to ensure pulling one of those Athlete Signature balls was a possibility for all. The good news is that late into the night we did fix the problem. We have not yet reopened the pack sales in order to give everyone the opportunity to get back in the drop and to give us time to do right to those that bought early.

In total, there were 176 balls sold before we paused the drop.

What now

So let’s do right by those early adopters. If you purchased a RareBall before we paused the drop:

1. For every pack you bought, you will receive another pack for free. For example, if you bought two packs, you’ll get two new packs. We are planning on distributing those packs by Wednesday, November 24.
2. Every buyer will get a new, special 503 Error Ball that will be created just for those that bought early in the drop. This ball will a) look great, b) cement your status as an early adopter and c) come with other cool perks from round21 and RareRooms. This will be airdropped to everyone that bought.

Release the Packs!

Given the Thanksgiving holiday this week in the U.S., we made the decision with round21 to reopen the pack sales on Cyber Monday - November 29 at noon EST.

In the meantime, we’re going to continue to release content for the drop PLUS, we’re going to let in everyone who purchased to alpha test the PopShot mini-game in RareRooms this week. Hop into Discord if you haven’t already to stay up to date on all the details.
