In simple terms, EDM is generally produced by DJs (Disc Jockeys) who add dozens of tones to a piece that create unique music. You can hear them in clubs or even live, depending upon your accessibility for the same.

In the early twenties, electronic dance music was known in the form of Jamaican dub music, the electronic music of Kraftwerk, the disco music of Giorgio Moroder, the Yellow Magic Orchestra and many more. They act as the roots that fragmented melodic and lyrical elements developed using multi tracks and mixes in high-end mixing boards and other such equipment.

Jamaican Dub Music

2. Hip Hop:

A key ingredient to many of the world’s hit numbers, Hip Hop has been ruling the music industry since the 1970s. It all started when DJ Kool Herc, the Jamaican-American star, rendered parties a popular culture by playing two copies of a record on two turntables and featuring a break on the track.

Disco

3. Disco:

It is impossible to stop yourself when items like Boogie Oogie Oogie, We Are Family, I Feel Love, Ring My Bell, It’s Raining Men, Rock Your Baby and Everybody Dance hits the floor!
