Our interactions with job seekers shed light on the challenges they face in the application process. Gigs has learned that transparency is key. Job seekers want clear, comprehensive job descriptions that include essential information such as pay, hours, duties, culture, and timelines. Now more than ever, job seekers want to know more about the company’s culture and “vibe” before applying for a position. They are interested in hearing perspectives from current and former employees. Some survey participants also expressed distrust of the application process. They wanted to know whether or not a company was truly hiring or “just collecting names”
