Apology & Analogy — Where We Stand Now!
A DREAM written down with a date becomes a GOAL.
A goal broken down into steps become a PLAN.
A plan backed by ACTION becomes a REALITY.
Inspirational, isn’t it? Things like these give the motivation to do the IMPOSSIBLE and inspire you to keep going. But even after doing everything stated above the external forces; forces that are not in your power influence your plans.
Something similar to that happened with our plans for GigTricks. We tried, we pushed then we pushed harder and so on, but the time was not right for us with the bearish crypto market last year.
We hit the bottom hard as any of you may have experienced in your life once or more than once. That overwhelming feeling that drags you down that your plan failed. However, no matter how many times your plan fails, it doesn’t mean you are a failure until you stop trying.
As you may have heard,
Luck favors the prepared, but fate favors the bold!
Yeah, we know, the first part of this quote is not really meant for us as the ‘luck’ seems to be on a vacation during our ITO launch and even after that. Though, we are bold and stubborn enough to make the second part a reality for ourselves as well as for each and every one of you who supported us during this hard time.
We thank you for your continuous support till now and apologize for our slow progress.
Since we are done with the humble apology, let’s now move forward with the analogy!
What we planned Initially?
1. An ITO, that will run smoothly.
2. Enough funds to launch our Freelance & On-Demand Ecosystem, one phase at a time.
3. A road map that will be achieved without delay.
4. Changing lives and empowering freelancers worldwide.
We didn’t achieve that, as you can see.
BUT… What We Went Through?
- We tirelessly make the effort to bring investors on board.
- Many Investors turned us down because of the bad crypto market.
- Investors who initially showed interest and/or promised to invest, never made the actual transaction that left the team with much pressure to keep the project on-going.
- Some minor funds which were raised during ITO were already spent on ITO operations and marketing.
- The founders continued to invest their personal funds into the project to kept going…
- We failed to raise the capital in 3 months.
- We extended our ITO, Once….! Twice….!! But faced the same obstacles because of the bearish market.
- Without losing hope and accepting defeat the founders of GigTricks and the team kept struggling for the success of the project. Yet no fruitful result came by.
Even after all of this, all the 3 founders are still investing their personal funds to keep the project alive because we really believe in GigTricks and its potential to reduce unemployment rate globally.
So, What We Are Planning Now?
We haven’t stopped making efforts and are still working towards pushing the project towards that success line. For this we are doing the following:
1. GigBit (GBTC) Token Listing on Exchange
We have initially listed GigBit (GBTC) Tokens on p2pb2b exchange. However, because of the shortage of funds, we were unable to perform any market making activities and as a result, we are yet to launch our token on this exchange.
We are now recently trying to launch GBTC token on decentralized exchange to enable the token holders to start trading as soon as possible.
2. Generating Revenue of GigTricks
We are in the process of generating revenue from our existing website www.gigtricks.com and through GigTricks’ consulting model in order to arrange the required funds for market making activities. The revenue we will get will be used to launch our token on p2pb2b and other exchanges.
3. Bounty Token Distribution
Due to the delay in GigBit (GBTC) Token launch, the bounty token distribution also got delayed. But we value the work the bounty participants have done for us in order to make GigTricks ITO a success (which, however, didn’t get us any funds). Therefore, we have decided to release all bounty tokens in order to ensure that the GigTricks Community don’t get any further hit. We have started issuing bounty tokens and expect to complete all transactions within the next 4 weeks or so. We recommend all bounty members to check bounty tracking sheet once in a week.
On that Note…
We request all our community to stay connected with us. We won’t be very active on our telegram handle; however, we ensure to post an update once every month on medium to keep you in the loop with our progress. Because without your support we may have lost the courage.
Last year everybody got a hit due to the bear market and the hit we got is bad too. However, the founders have decided to keep the project running. Our progress will be slow than normal however we know one day we will get there.
There Is No Chance, No Destiny, No Fate That Can Hinder the Firm Resolve of A Determined Soul.
