File Storage — Developer Log # 11 — Giig Hire — 17th May

This development update is a little smaller than previous entries. In this developer log i’m only really bragging about one feature, regardless is a big feature that pushes the platform forward again.

New Features

• File Storage — Upload any files to your candidate, job, company, and contact records in to individual files areas. We have added some quick filters for the user to easily get to the files they are looking for, I.E quick filter by file type or folder aswell as an instant keyword search.
• Folders/Preset Folders — Folders can be created so users can organise their files how they want. Folders can be added individually on any candidate, job, company, or contact. Alternatively we have built Preset Folders which is a quick way to create a folder that is automatically added to all new and existing records.

New Addition

• Job Owner In Job Card — We have added an option to select the job owner when creating or editing a job. Previously this was preset to the user adding the job however with the ability to change the job owner allows for the correct person to be notified when a new applicant is submitted to the role.
• Parse Current CV From Candidate Card — We’ve added the ability to parse the current CV on a candidate, this is particularly useful for applicants that apply through the website; where their CV may not have been parsed, or where you may have previously exhausted your monthly parsing credits.
• Update to Settings Page — We’ve made a significant improvement to the settings page so that it is easier to navigate, quicker to load, and ready for future features.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed the email encoding where in some instances the email is sending a   instead of a space and & instead of an & symbol.
