We continue our journey towards being the best platform avaliable for freelance recruiters and with that, this month we introduce 2 new features and a big step forward for Giig in terms of security.

See the full breakdown of this push below.

New Features

  • Mass CV Parse — Upload multiple CVs at once and let them parse in the background, creating candidates so much quicker than possible before. This feature allows you to continue to use the platform with up to 100 files automatically processing in the background.
  • Progress Circles — We have added progress circles in to every users dashboards so they can see what features they have used and highlight what features are avalaible within their subscription, which they may not be utilising.

New Addition

  • Update To Security Policy — We have increased secruity across the platform where we have had a major overhal of our Content Security Policy.
  • Update To Sessions — We have completed a major update to our sessions data allowing a more efficient CSRF token generation JS Nonce generation and improved session managment.
  • Addition Of Industries — Addition of Consumer Goods, Sales and Other industries have been added to the industry dropdown to give better options to the users.
  • Reject Candidate Button On Pipeline — We have now added a reject candidate button on to the pipelines so that you can quickly remove candidates without leaving this view.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where the actions button in talent pools was not working as expected.
  • Fixed a bug where using tab or enter in advanced search causes the form to add more new field fields than expected.
  • Fixed an issue where the date picker wasn’t working when trying to make a candidate as hired.
  • Fixed an issue where the default currency for a candidate’s salary was not changing when updating the default currency.
  • Fixed an issue where the location on a CV parse would sometimes not pull the correct required information for the candidate’s location.
  • Fixed an issue where an incorrect message would pop-up when adding a job to your job board asking you to create your website even if you had already done so.
  • Fixed a bug where the skills boxes wouldn’t work in certain instances.
