After months of discussions, planning and plenty of coffee, the time for TwitchCon is almost upon us! We will be updating this space regularly, keeping you abreast of updates from our trip — so be sure to follow our blog!
So, where do we begin? Tomorrow two parts of our team will make their way to the United Kingdom — some leaving from Malta with the other part making their way from France, before traveling to sunny San Diego, California — the home for TwitchCon 2019. For those of you who aren’t too familiar with the convention, TwitchCon takes place annually, giving streamers the chance to better their streams while growing their brand, while fans get the chance to meet their streamer heroes, play games and interact with online communities in real life. It’s the kind of event where you’ll find something interesting going on no matter where you look.
So why is Gimbl attending the convention? Well, TwitchCon will be the ideal place to potentially show thousands of eSports fans what we’ve been working so hard on these past few years. We believe we’ve built the ideal platform for both streamers and viewers to benefit from and can’t wait to showcase what we’re all about! Viewers will get the opportunity to put streamers to the test through live challenges, where those participating will be in for a chance of winning some fantastic prizes.
Without revealing too much, we’ll be doing more than just showing what we’ve built and had a few aces up our sleeves… Let’s just say that those in attendance could be going home as very happy campers! Aside from that, we’ll also have Gimbl merchandise up for grabs — including handy popsockets, cool sunglasses and portable battery packs which will be handed out to those trying out our platform. Be sure to pop over to booth SW9 — we’d love to meet up!
Be sure to follow our blog to find out what we got up to on our (long) trip to California, how we plan on continuing the preparation for our booth and anything else in between!
In the meantime, don’t forget to follow us on social media for more interesting content and updates as they happen.
