We’re bringing you 3 brand new shows.

It’s been a bit of a busy year here at Gimlet. We’ve tried new things, grown a lot, and we’ve been working on three brand new podcasts for your ears. We thought we’d pause for a moment and introduce the three newest additions to our network. We hope you love them as much as we’ve loved working on them.

First up is Undone. When big news happens, the world tunes in and then moves on. But often the stories we thought were over haven’t really ended. They were the beginning of something else. In Undone, we dig up the surprising things that happened when we weren’t looking. We cover topics like Disco Demolition Night — a crazy night in 1979 when a huge crowd of rock fans in Chicago lit thousands of disco records on fire, leaving a lasting impression on America’s black and LGBTQ communities and the music they loved. It’s hosted by Pat Walters and premieres on November 14th.

The second on our slate is Homecoming — our very first scripted series . It’s a six-episode psychological thriller that centers on a caseworker at an experimental facility, her ambitious supervisor, and a soldier eager to rejoin civilian life. The story is told through an enigmatic collage of telephone calls, therapy sessions, and overheard conversations. It features two-time Academy Award-nominee Catherine Keener, Golden Globe-winner Oscar Isaac, and Emmy-nominee David Schwimmer. Eli Horowitz, former managing editor and publisher of McSweeney’s, and novelist Micah Bloomberg teamed up with Mark Phillips, an award-winning cinematic sound designer, to create this amazing, intricate, textured audio experience. The show launches on Wednesday, November 16th and will continue for six weeks.

Last up on the docket is Crimetown. This show is all about Providence, Rhode Island, where organized crime corrupted an entire city and infected every aspect of public life. We’ve partnered with Zac Stuart-Pontier and Marc Smerling, creators of hit HBO miniseries The Jinx, to tell a story of alliances and betrayals, heists and stings, cops and mobsters, politicians and ex-cons. Actually, some of the politicians are ex-cons. Crimetown premieres on Sunday, November 20th.

And a bonus — If you missed it, we also recently launched the fourth season of StartUp. In the first three episodes, we turn the microphone on ourselves here at Gimlet. The rest of the season starts on Thursday, November 3rd, and takes a look at controversial and embattled entrepreneur Dov Charney, founder and former CEO of American Apparel, as he tries to start a new business. We’re alongside as he starts again from scratch, hoping to once again, disrupt the retail industry with his new company: Los Angeles Apparel.

There’s a lot to listen to this fall, and we’ve got more in the works. You can subscribe on your podcast player of choice, or just click here for all the places to follow along. We can’t wait to hear what you think.
