Gimli on the road
Dear Gimli Community,
Thanks for being here with us over these past few weeks. Now we are back in business and have a lot to share with you in the weeks to come.
As some of you might have read on our Telegram channel, the community urged for a decision on the unsold tokens. Some of our GIM buyers raised the option of not burning the unsold tokens, but rather spreading the unsold tokens among the backers. We ran a poll to let our community decide and the result was:
We spent the past two weeks checking every transaction to ensure everyone is getting their fair share. For every participant, we used the proportion of tokens bought over the total sold. We multiplied that proportion by the number of remaining unsold tokens to get the final amount. If you are still missing tokens or have a question on the distribution, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Road Ahead!
The Gimli adventure is now officially started. We are currently looking for offices and began interviewing candidates as we expand our core development team. We are looking to hire blockchain, backend, and frontend engineers to be part of this very exciting project. So far, we have had a number of promising candidates and conversations; if you are based in Paris and would like to be part of the adventure, please send your resume to email@example.com.
On the product side, we’ve been brainstorming on additional requirements for the design of Gimli services. Our fellow streamers and gamers are helping us shape the best product to make Gimli a successful reality. We are continuing to grow Gimli’s Community reach and awareness as we attend more and more eSports shows and blockchain events. Keep a lookout for these weekly updates as we will be sharing the locations and dates of the events The Gimli Team is attending — we would love to meet you guys.
As some of you know, we’ve been running a demo event with Happy streaming his CS:GO games. That was a frank success and it was a first for all of us. As the development of our app goes on, we will host more demo events like this to gather feedback from our audience and to validate assumptions we’ve been making. We want all of you to be able to experience The Gimli Platform as it is developed. We aim to have a working product within 8 to 10 month and have the final application ready for general release use in 12 months.
We are currently discussing the best way to handle the GIM token listings to protect our investors’ interests. The discussions with our advisors and community on our Telegram Channel led us to wonder whether or not we should wait and build value before listing the GIM token on exchanges. We will announce our decision soon.
If you have any questions, please feel free to join our Telegram channel or you can send your question on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be delighted to hear from you and answer any questions you may have.
