According to their team, TUSD is able to match its price to the U.S. dollar by holding escrowed funds backing the US dollar with partner banks and fiduciaries. A publicly audited smart contract will allow users to receive TUSD by sending the U.S. dollar to a third-party escrow account after finalizing a KYC/AML check.
