What is a Sharecard? : The easiest way to share a cryptocurrency address
Ginco’s sharecards are one of the main features found within the Ginco app. Upon opening your Ginco wallet, you may notice the colorful cards displayed on your home screen. These cards represent an individual coin or token supported by Ginco. Feel encouraged to swipe through all of the options available. And if you want to add, sort, or hide these cards to better suit your preferences, you can do so by clicking “See all”.
To view your Sharecard, press “receive” on the coin or token you would like to use. This will bring up a similar looking card, only this time displaying your profile icon and a unique QR code. This is your sharecard, and it will be your best friend for receiving new digital currency!
Why do Sharecards Exist?
While observing how people throughout the world send and receive cryptocurrency, it become painfully clear that the current model for sending digital funds by copying and pasting addresses needed to be amended. While using other wallets, it isn’t uncommon for people to mistakenly send funds to an incorrect addresses, resulting in their funds being lost.

How Does it Work?
Here are the steps to share your sharecard.
- Install Ginco and create your wallet. (It takes less than a minute)
- Customize your digital asset display by pressing “See all” and choosing which coins and tokens you prefer.
- Press “receive” on any coin/token to launch your sharecard.
- Press the “Share QR code” button.
- Choose Twitter and post your QR code via Tweet.
