Why They Are So Important For NFT Culture?

Let’s start with a short brief.

RTFKT Studios (pronounced “artifact,” of course)

I don’t know if Benoit Pagotto dreamed of these when he founded #RTFKT in 2020, but now it is mentioned that he will be the pioneer of youth fashion. RTFKT is a studio that offers virtual wearables. Acquired by NIKE in 2021, it is still the only NIKE brand acquisition in the Metaverse. Their best-known works are a collection of 3d wearable voxel characters called CloneX. Emphasizing the concept of utility, the team offered #CloneX holders a wide variety of NFT drops.

Doodles

Doodles are a community-driven #NFT collectibles project featuring art by Burnt Toast aka Scott Martin. A Doodle NFT allows its owner to vote for experiences, events, and products paid for by the Doodles Community Treasury (proceeds from sales of the #NFTs). But the most important thing that makes them special is that they attract the “attention of children”. When you start researching doodles, you come across a series of photos where you see kids looking at and loving the doodles characters on their iPads. According to current rumors, they are very close to making a deal with Disney. A doodles-themed cartoon wouldn’t be bad.

The common point of these two projects is: “Mass Adoption”

NFTs are still followed, bought, and sold by those concerned. Spreading it to the masses is the most basic need of the NFT world right now.

Do you think a kid who refuses to eat without an iPad will mature and want a NIKE shoe or an RTFKT virtual shoe to wear in Metaverse? Or will he prefer to watch Doodles instead of Bugs Bunny?
