GIPHY Brings Home Two Webby People’s Voice Awards

Last night was the 26th Annual Webby Awards — the highly regarded event that recognizes the best and brightest on the Internet. This long-standing award program is considered to be the “internet’s highest honor” and the People’s Voice selections are voted on by the fans. GIPHY is proud to announce that this year we are bringing two trophies home!

The Webby Awards are known for their trademark 5-word speeches — making us kindred spirits of celebrating the short form versions of our respective mediums. Winners have to get creative with their speeches and we’ve included our own GIPHY speech clips below for your entertainment.
