The 2023 Latin Grammy Awards celebrated several historic firsts Thursday night as it travelled across the Atlantic to hold its first-ever overseas ceremony in Seville, Spain.

Thursday night was a big night for the industry: not only was the ceremony the first Grammy ceremony to take place outside of the United States, it was also the stage for several historic wins, such as Karol G, who made history as the first woman to win Best Urban Music Album.

The 2023 Latin Grammy Awards also marked some history for GIPHY as well: this year was the first time that the ceremony was covered through GIFs.
