The 2023 BET Awards kicked off the 50th anniversary of hip-hop Sunday night with a ceremony celebrating the past, present, and future of the genre. Several standouts from this year’s ceremony topped our list of the most-viewed GIFs from the 2023 BET Awards.
For starters, Lil Uzi Vert opened the night with a performance of “Just Wanna Rock,” the lead single from his upcoming album “Pink Tape.” This GIF from his performance from Sunday night was the third most-viewed GIF of the night with 18 million views as of Tuesday.
Best New Artist nominee Lola Brooke also made waves at this year’s ceremony with her performance of “Don’t Play With It!” This GIF from her performance was the second most-viewed GIF of the night with 19.8 million views.
Latto won big at the 2023 BET Awards, taking home Best Female Hip-Hop Artist for the first time ever. This GIF of Latto kicking off her heels to accept her award was the most-viewed GIF of the night with 40.7 million views.
