The 95th Academy Awards closed out an eventful awards season Sunday night delivering several historic firsts for Hollywood. From Everything, Everywhere, All at Once’s historic clean sweep, to Rihanna’s first-ever Oscars performance, this year’s ceremony was a can’t-miss affair, full of the ups and downs we’ve come to expect from the Oscars.

Most-Viewed GIFs: The Cast of “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once”

Everything, Everywhere won everything, everywhere this awards season, including top spots on our list of the most-viewed GIFs from the 2023 Oscars.

For starters, Michelle Yeoh won Best Actress for her performance as Evelyn Wang in the film, making Oscars history as the first Asian woman to win the award.

In her acceptance speech, Yeoh dedicated her award to “all the moms in the world because they are really the superheroes.” This GIF from Yeoh’s speech was the sixth most-viewed GIF of the night with 11.2 million views as of Tuesday morning.

Jamie Lee Curtis won Best Supporting Actress for her role as Deidre — her first-ever Oscar win. This GIF of Curtis overwhelmed with her win was the seventh most-viewed GIF with 10.9 million views.

Writing-and-directing duo the Daniels swept this year’s Oscars with Everything, Everywhere winning Best Original Screenplay, Best Director and Best Picture.

In his acceptance speech, Daniel Kwan assured his son that he “should never have to live up to this standard.” This GIF from his speech was the third most-viewed GIF of the night with 15.5 million views.

Also, Sunday night was a big night for Ke Huy Quan, who won Best Supporting Actor, making history as the first Asian actor to win the award in 38 years.

After the film’s Best Picture win, Quan ran up to the stage to hug presenter Harrison Ford in a full-circle moment from Quan and Ford’s time together on “Indiana Jones.” This GIF from that moment was the most-viewed GIF of the night with 37.5 million views.

Like years past, this year’s Oscars ceremony was the stage for some emotional, moving speeches as several nominees got their flowers, including Brendan Fraser, who delivered this moment in the second most-viewed GIF of the night.
