A tip on buying Souvenirs in Khartoum

When you go to buy a souvenir in Khartoum, you don’t go to the mall or the airport. You buy it from Omdurman Mart, or the Arab Mart near to the bus stations, but we strongly recommend Omdurman Mart because the antique shops are more established and organized there. At least you’ll not be interrupted by the traffic bus station passengers.

Why’s airport and malls are not recommended? It’s because of their astronomic prices for the same products.

What kind of souvenirs to buy?

Well, you can find mini stuffed crocodiles, ebony wooden statues, musical instruments, accessories, python leather bags, bovid leather bags, walking canes, ivory keychains, and etc.
