In all communities around the world there are these organizations that give people in need some hope, help, and empowerment. In this article we’re going to share couple of these local organisations in Sudan.

Street of Incidents — شارع الحوادث

The street of incidents is basically providing medicine to patients in hospitals who are in need for medicine, but cannot buy it.

Sadagaat

Sadagaat is a non-profit charity organization that started as a result of the growing dire need for help. It has made a long-term commitment to specific marginalized and vulnerable groups to achieve a lasting impact on the underlying causes of poverty and social injustice. It provides Ramadan/Food Packages project and other humanitarian needs to including: emergency relief and access to medical care and clean water.

Khawatir Voluntary Organisation is an organisation that provides multiple services to people in need through volunteers.

“There’s hope inside us” Cancer Clinic for children

“There’s hope inside us” provide assistance to children and their relatives coming to Khartoum from other states of Sudan — because the only city with proper infrastructure and medical services is Khartoum — to receive proper treatment for cancer. It provides them with a residence service, medics, and anything they might need during their stay in Khartoum.
