It was in November 2017 that Tesla’s Roadster (concept), “the quickest car in the world, with record-setting acceleration, range, and performance”, was unveiled which is now replaced by SSC Tuatara. The Roadster has a 2+2 seating arrangement, with smaller rear seats for two passengers. The vehicle has three electric motors, one in front and two at the rear, allowing for all-wheel drive, and torque vectoring during cornering.

The world’s safest car has also been created by Tesla, Tesla’s Model S. It holds the titles of the lowest drag coefficient and the largest panoramic sunroof in any production car. But apart from that, it can be said that it is constructed like a tank which is quite evident from the fact that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s roof crush resistance testing machine broke but it couldn’t smash the Model S under it.

Tesla has set its sights on the speed with safety for people behind the wheel and the environment, both and they are well aware of the importance of the role of other car manufacturers in the expansion of the reach of electric cars and the success of their vision. They allow other companies to use their designs and principles and do not keep their secrets to themselves.

Tesla is also working to evolve and strengthen its Autopilot suite of advanced driver-assistance system features. Their approach to achieving full self-driving is quite different from that of other companies (like Waymo, Cruise). Critics say that their strategy is not feasible but Elon Musk argued that although its approach is much more difficult, it will ultimately be more useful because its vehicles will be able to self-drive without geofencing concerns. The company claims that the self-driving features reduce accidents caused by driver negligence and fatigue from long-term driving.

Essentially we need to adopt ways to exploit sustainable energy resources like solar power. It is quite evident that the advent of electric vehicles is the need of the hour. It makes sense since they have numerous advantages over others. They do not use petroleum products, antifreeze mixtures, oils, and, therefore, there is no emission of harmful exhaust gases. Also, they are safer in terms of operation, since they don’t contain explosive substances. Moreover, the efficiency of the electric motor reaches 95%, while the fuel engine - only 45%.

Looking at the current environmental conditions across the Globe, we can comprehend the alarming situation in which we are today. It turns out that we need more corporations like Tesla that would stress more on the advent of sustainable transport and energy production.
