Changing your page’s category to Non-Profit Organization

To change your page’s category, click on the About on the left side of your Page. Then click on ‘Edit’ next to the Category:

Hover over the Category section and click Edit. Start typing Non-Profit Organization and it should appear in a drop-down menu:

Click Save and you’re done!

Note: you do NOT have to be a 501c(3) organization to categorize yourself this way. According to Facebook’s policy on page categories: “If you don’t see a category that describes your Page, please choose the closest available option from the categories listed.”
