“A Samaritan’s Feast”

I’ve been thinking about how to do a GiveSafe launch party for a long time. What worked for other startups wouldn’t work for us; we needed something inclusive for our beacon holders.

The concept of feast came to mind. Something you could relish, whether coming from the 51st floor or the tent city. Pike Market stepped up with space. Upper Crust, food. Snapbar, capturing the night.

Areconciliation dinner” between 50 beacon holders and 50 Seattle citygoers. As far as I know, nothing like this has ever been done before.

There’s a scant 15 seats left for early supporters and app users — here’s the link to grab one. This is a celebration of a city reconciling with its homeless — would love to have you if in Seattle Thursday May 18th.

ps. beyond breaking bread, beacon holders will broadcast hireable skills. Citygoers will have a shot to hire them for a gig (like doing some gardening, cooking a family dinner, photographing an event, etc.) Money goes straight to their beacon.

pps. we’re hiring more good folks to join us (developers and storytellers welcome)
