Motorola Moto G5 : Phone on a Budget

Motorola owned by Lenovo has launched the Moto G5 which is exclusive to Amazon and retails for Rs. 11,999.

Moto G5 looks similar to its big brother the Moto G5 Plus.

Features and Specifications :

• RAM + ROM — It comes with 3 GB RAM with 16 GB internal memory which is expandable up to 128 GB via micro SD card.
• Processor — G5 is powered by a 1.4 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa Core processor, which is capable of handling day-to-day task easily and is the right kind of processor for the budget smart phone.
• Display — 5 inches FHD LCD display with 441 ppi, gives good picture quality.
• Battery — It has good battery capacity of 2800 mAh and should easily last a day on normal usage. Though, if one plays multimedia games or watches a movie , then they may have to plug-in the device.
• Finger Print Sensor — It comes equipped with a front mounted finger print sensor, unlike G5 Plus which has rear mounted finger print sensor.
• Camera — G5 has a 13MP Primary and 5MP Secondary camera, which may not be best in class but should be able to click decent pictures.
• Dedicated micro SD card slot — Unlike other phones these days, which have hybrid SIM slots, G5 comes with a dedicated slot for micro SD card. Dedicated slot means that one can use two SIMs and a micro SD card at the same time, which offers greater usability and flexibility to the user.
• Colours — It is offered in Lunar Grey and Fine Gold colours.

So, thats what the Moto G5 has to offer and in our view is a great smart phone in under 12k. While, there are other smartphones in the sub 12k range with better configuration, none of them have the trust and reliability that Motorola offers. Moreover, the pure android experience that one gets on a Motorola device is just not comparable.
