We are incredibly excited to share our story at DIG SOUTH later this month. We heard about the event last year while attending the SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) conference in Washington D.C. and knew we had to attend in the future. The speaker line-up is consistently one of the best in the south & the founders invited to present represent a broad spectrum of B2B & B2C high growth ventures. One of my favorite companies presented at last years DIG SOUTH (Good Done Great) and ending up winning the competition.

The opportunity to present could not have come at a more perfect time for us. Over the last 3 months we have worked with companies around the U.S. doing high volume sales hiring. In working with these companies our algorithms have been able to identify trends their recruiting teams were unaware of. These trends provide a massive opportunity to hire more efficiently while improving the quality of each new hire.

An example of this can be seen in our ranking engine. The engine knows 86% of one of our customers hires are ranked 80 or greater. This ranking is a non-trivial technical accomplishment based on natural language processing, machine learning and data science (and will be explained in more detail in another blog post).

This insight enables our customers to hire candidates who will deliver better KPI’s (key performance indicators) long term. A direct example of this is dials per demo booked and one of the most important statistics for a SaaS (software as a service) inside sales representative to track.

This dials per demo KPI tracks how many leads need to be contacted (on average) before booking a product demonstration. We have been able to cut this number in half, essentially providing our customers account executives with double the funnel to close. In addition to this making a huge difference in the talent acquisition process this makes the sales professionals very very happy (they did no extra work and now have double the prospects thanks to magic….sometimes referred to as Glance)

Moving forward our goal is to continue to dial in our algorithms and further enable our customers to hire the best sales representatives for the job. We know the future of recruiting will be aided by data and early adopters will reap benefits their competitors will miss out on for years to come.

Data analysis will be the competitive edge in recruiting for the future.
