The tools below have contributed to our 2x applicant increase, 44% female application ratio and 1.5x retention numbers of entry level sales hires.

Don’t worry….you won’t need this many tools to recruit entry level sales candidates :)
  1. Breezy-We previously used iCims and it was a massive headache. Breezy is lightweight and mobile friendly, with apps for both iOS and Android. Pricing is great and the support is the best I have ever seen for a SaaS (software as a service product…and I am a developer so trust me on that one)
  2. Textio-My life would be impossible without Textio. Using Textio contributed to our 2x applicants and 44% female applicant ratio discussed in depth here. It made a world of difference and saved $$$ on recruiting. A no brainer.
  3. Google Form-We like to track who does each IPI(In Person Interview) and log the difference in how candidates score between who interviews them. For this, we created a simple Google Form and saved the link on our browser favorites. Our form walks each recruiter doing interviews through filling out their name, the candidates name and then a 1–10 scale of each scoring question. One of the nicest parts about using the form is how tightly integrated it is into Google Sheets and how easy it is to track data over time. And seriously, Glance loves data.
  4. Google Sheet-We used a Google Sheet to track the funnel of candidates week over week and determine where we needed to improve. For RevGen 15% of applicants get hired which easily lets us map back to how many applicants we need to fill each hiring class.
  5. Indeed-We have received a good amount of traffic from applicants on Indeed so we started to post a few extra job listings on the site per month. This just means as candidates scroll through the open listings they might see the RevGen opportunity listed twice and apply. Super simple hack to drive an additional 15 applicants a month :)

These are the tools we used. All free. We have started paying for a few of them now that the team needs to grow (even faster) but they are all worth trying for your entry level sales hires. Comment below for links to a sample Google Sheet and Google Form to score candidates & track your funnel. Happy Recruiting :)
