Last week, Red Herring brought together over 300 C-level technology entrepreneurs, corporate strategists, and venture financiers to The Top 100 North America forum in Los Angeles, celebrating the top private companies in the North America region. On the final day of the event, they announced the winners of the “Red Herring Top 100 North America” awards.

Red Herring’s editorial team analyzed hundreds of cutting edge companies and technologies and selected those who are best positioned to grow at an explosive rate. Alex Vieux, chairman of Red Herring, said, “With all the great startups and exciting trends happening in IT right now, selecting this year’s North American top companies wasn’t an easy task. After putting hundreds of companies through our rigorous selection process, we were excited to select Glasnostic as one of our well-deserved winners. The relentless growth in the application layer presents enterprises with a problem that is increasingly difficult to ignore. We believe Glasnostic has the vision and innovation required to capitalize on the growing demand to control federated microservice architectures.”

“The relentless growth in the application layer presents enterprises with a problem that is increasingly difficult to ignore.”

Glasnostic is honored to have been selected as a winner. We applaud Red Herring in recognizing the growing demand for solutions that address the increasingly organic, federated growth in the enterprise and enable operations teams to bring the complex interactions amongst their rapidly evolving architectures under control. The award is a testament to the innovation we bring to the world of architecture and operations.

About the Award

Red Herring’s editorial staff evaluates companies on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technological innovation, management quality, overall business strategy and market penetration. This assessment was complemented by a review of the track records and standings of similar startups in the same verticals, allowing Red Herring to see past the “hype” and make the list a valuable instrument of discovery and advocacy for the most promising new businesses in North America.

About Glasnostic

It uses a unique network-based approach to provide operators with the observability and control they need to detect and remediate emergent behaviors in federated service landscapes. Glasnostic is headquartered in Menlo Park, CA and backed by Engineering Capital, Correlation Ventures and Day One Ventures.
