Gold. The name of this noble metal was given by ancient Indian tribes. The meaning of the term “gold” is explained by the connection with the fact that in ancient times this word could be a characteristic designating yellow and green colors, as well as the brightness of their color.

The Incas considered gold to be the tears of the Sun, so the attitude to jewelry made of this noble metal was special. They were considered a gift from God, so they were treated much more reverently than any other material values. One of the most famous ancient methods of gold mining is considered to be the Egyptian method, the essence of which was to strengthen the sheep’s leather in the surf.

The ancient Greeks diversified their lives by stealing such Golden runes from hapless miners. One of these pirate campaigns, later, became the basis for the well-known legend of Jason and the Argonauts.

In the culture of ancient Egypt itself, gold was considered the property of the gods, so only the Pharaoh, his family and the chief priests were allowed to use it.
