Just trying to help

I’ve been helping my little sister, Jenny financially for years. Just quietly — you know. No big thing. Been glad to do it. To be there for her — you know. She’s had a rough go of it. Single mother and the poor kid, my nephew, born with severe health problems. No end in sight there besides… well, you know. That end. That one final end we’ll all have to face at one time or another. Poor kid. I can’t imagine life like that. Then there’s his piece of shit father gets himself arrested for making and distributing meth before he even knows he’s about to be a dad. To this day, Jenny hasn’t told me whether she’s let him know he’s a dad. Anyway, she’s had it rough.

But then she goes and buys that piece of shit Toyota! I told her not to do it. I told her one hundred times if I told her once that that piece of foreign plastic would be nothing but trouble. What does she do? She goes ahead and buys the damned thing anyway. Now it sits there in the parking lot of her apartment building and the sup is telling her she’s got to move it or he’ll kick her out. Hell, I don’t blame him. Piece of shit. I’ll be damned if I’m going to help her. I told her a hundred times if I told her once.
