Introducing GLIDR

(a short story of how we got here)

This is the very first post on the new blog of our new website; but we’re not a new company. Five years ago, Steve Blank and Jim Hornthal were instrumental in the creation of the National Science Foundation’s I-Corps, and subsequently started Launchpad Central to develop software to power the program.

As of today, Launchpad Central is in use at 250 institutions on every continent with the exception of Antartica (coming soon Antartica!). The impact that Launchpad Central has had in the public sector is undeniable and a huge part of our DNA.

In 2014, as a company founded on the principles of lean innovation should, embarked on a new customer segment, enterprise companies. And just as a company practicing lean innovation should, we learned…a LOT. Launchpad Central met a lot of the needs of enterprise companies, but not all of them.

That journey met a significant milestone this past week as our new platform, GLIDR, was put in the hands the first enterprise customer to use GLIDR.

GLIDR delivers Innovation Portfolio Management to enterprise companies with the goal of continuous growth fueled by continuous innovation. We’ve built a host of features designed to enable your company to achieve these goals and we can’t wait to show you more.
