Glitch Finance Announces Community Advocate Program

We are excited to announce that starting July 7, 2021, our newly created Community Advocate Program will go live and we will begin accepting applications. This is a great opportunity for community members to get even more involved in spreading the word. There is no closing period for the application process and we will continue to accept new advocates moving forward.

The Community Advocate Program will allow all community members to play an important role in shaping Glitch and the future of decentralized financial applications. Together, we are creating a new breed of money market economies.

What Would I Need To Do As A “Glitcher” and Community Advocate?

Every month we’ll have a sync meeting with all the community advocates to see what you’re up to and keep up-to-date on the latest news. These events will be a great opportunity to congratulate you for achievements and to confirm rewards for those that are eligible. The following are a list of some of the things you can do as an advocate:

• Help manage an unofficial Glitch Twitter account and the Glitch Protocol Trading Channel, which will be 100% community-ran.
• Help teach people about Glitch and what we’re building through educational and informative content shared on the official and unofficial Glitch Protocol profiles. You decide what to post, with our assistance, as long as it’s related to Glitch!
• Help set up virtual meetups and conferences for the Glitch team and help host a community-driven Twitter Spaces event to announce key project milestones.

Interested in Glitch and in helping us build a solid community? We’d love to hear from you. The success of DeFi is all about network effects and we need people like you with us as we reshape finance.

After the initial 3-months as a Glitch advocate, you’ll be eligible to get rewarded for contributions that make a difference.

What Are The Next Steps?

• On July 7, 2021, we’ll be releasing the sign-up form for the Glitch Community Advocate Program. We’ll also release some additional details that will help you better understand how the program works.
• Once you have filled out the form, the Glitch Marketing team will review the applications within 2–4 weeks after submission.
• If you’re selected for the next steps, we’ll schedule a group interview with a large majority of the advocates to get to know you better and make sure you’re a great fit.
• Once the call is complete and you’ve been onboarded as an official advocate, your journey supporting Glitch on a whole new level begins!
