Glitch is excited to announce plans to work with Kurtosis, a market-leading testing infrastructure provider. As we approach our testnet launch, we will be enlisting Kurtosis to help input lessons learned through testing before they hit production.

At their core, blockchains are trust networks, and as such, integration testing is of high importance for Glitch to ensure any potential errors in implementation are addressed before they’re live. To this end, we’re happy to announce plans to work with Kurtosis, a firm started by ex-Palantir engineers, to provide a complete, end-to-end testing platform for developers to build more resilient technologies.

Kurtosis works with the mantra that when development work meets holistic integration testing “early, frequently, and repeatedly,” unexpected system shocks are handled before they cause any damage to the whole project. In practice, this means moving system-wide testing up in the development cycle to find and fix bugs before they can cause real problems. For an early-stage project like Glitch, this is critical.

Collaborating with Kurtosis will allow Glitch developers (both internal and external) to run dApps in Kurtosis-defined isolated testnets to catch real, relevant issues. Another benefit of using Kurtosis tooling is that Kurtosis is oriented towards supporting multiple blockchains in their testnets, which will be valuable for numerous Glitch development scenarios.

Ultimately, GLITCH is being built to support a high volume of financial applications in a production environment, so consistent, system-wide testing is of utmost priority. Kurtosis has helped some of the biggest names in blockchain, including Ava Labs and Solana, with test orchestration, and we’re excited to be joining those ranks. More details will be coming shortly.

About Glitch

GLITCH is a blockchain-agnostic super protocol explicitly designed for trustless money markets and decentralized financial applications (dApps). Glitch solves the expensive fee structure of other blockchain platforms while simultaneously rewarding all ecosystem participants and guaranteeing low network fees. Glitch plans to incorporate token wrapping bridges, where dApps can run more efficiently, all in service of Glitch’s ultimate goal: to become a cornerstone of blockchain infrastructure.
