Shops We Love: Liberty of London

Next time you find yourself in London with time to kill and more than a few extra dollars (especially with the falling pound, thank you Brexit), head to Liberty of London. If you’ve never been, Liberty is an absolutely glorious department store on Regent Street that is stacked to the rafters with clothes and home goods, many featuring their famous floral line of prints, and a killer haberdashery with their own extensive line of fabrics, notebooks, aprons, printed sewing machines, tea towels, pajamas in Liberty prints, and pretty much any other twee, crafty delight you can think of.

If you love floral prints, if you love gorgeous stationery, if you want an apron that matches your oven mitts that matches your tea towels that matches your wallet? This is the place. I could get lost in here for hours. And bonus: if you’re in the neighborhood with your family, everyone else can take the kids around the corner to Hamleys toy store (it’s like the FAO Schwartz of London) and give you some quiet time among all the pretties. That’s what I do, anyway.
