#ThrowbackThursday & Eating ALL the Seafood in Gulf County, FL
It’s Thursday, so it’s time to look at the past for #ThrowbackThursday! Today, my belly is grumbling for all of the fresh seafood on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Back in 2015, I joined a group of amazing writers and photographers, and we ate our way through the area. Oh, yes.
Here’s a look at a couple of the venues we had the pleasure of dining at, and some of the goodies we gorged ourselves on.
First up: Indian Pass Raw Bar. It’s essentially a little house on the side of the road, packed with locals, flip-flops, and damn good seafood. They have a self-serve beer cooler {this is the stuff dreams are made of, people}, and a giant grill outside that cooks up all sorts of goodness while patrons rock out on the karaoke machine.
Next, Shipwreck Raw Bar in Port St. Joe. It’s a hit with tourists and residents alike, and they’re mostly known for both their raw and cooked oyster dishes.
