Industry Mercury emission (eventually contaminating the fish we all eat) is a known major environmental concern. Therefore, environmental protection agencies and regulators worldwide (with USA being the front lead) have been introducing increasingly stringent regulations and standards limiting mercury emissions.

As a Chemist focusing on applied and environmental chemistry, I have identified the problem and the drawbacks of common used technologies over 10 years ago. Since, throughout my PhD work, I have worked on developing new innovative advanced solutions to the problem.

Backed by worldwide experts and Hutchison-Kinrot (a leading environmental technology seed investor) and based on my technological breakthrough using a proprietary absorption process for removing Mercury from flue gas streams I established MercuRemoval Ltd. In 2015.

We are currently running a first successful pilot at a coal based power plant together with the Israel Electric Corporate and are in a process of establishing a dialogue with international strategic partners.

Our Vision is to become a dominant player in the global environmental effort expertizing in gas treatment technology.

The GES 2016 is an exciting opportunity and platform for me to meet other entrepreneurs and investors and “spread the word” on the innovation in handling a known environmental challenge.
