Brief Description of Organization: ReservaTelo is an app available for Android and iOS that lets you find the nearest love motel to your location with rooms available and booking it in three clicks. Free and anonymous.

Dream Team: Victoria Ortiz, Ximena Genta and Victoria Suárez.

What inspired you to start this organization? We are inspired in making a difference and change the paradigms. We founded a company that digitizes an entire category of market that until now didn’t have a specific platform that connects users and suppliers in the same place. ReservaTelo offers comfort, security and privacy for users. We’re lovers of challenges and one of the main challenges is to change the focus and tone of erotic and sexual communication market, making people feel comfortable. Nobody wants to see ugly and rude things about the places where they are going to have sex. Do it natural, simple, clean and fun!

What is the next big step you hope to help your organization reach? We’re working hard to internationalize the company. We have a goal “To be the #1 motels booking application in LatAm.” We will go step by step to conquer new markets. From Uruguay to the world!

What has been your biggest obstacle as an entrepreneur? Moving from the business plan to execution. Stop saying and start doing. Making the decision as a woman and mother in a conservative society to leave a steady job well paid full time to be an entrepreneur. Believing in myself and my team. Starting down a road with my two partners Ximena and Victoria that none of the three knew. A major challenge is to keep your feet on the ground and to be reliable to cope with the roller coaster of entrepreneurship, you can feel you touch the sky with your hands and you fell on the floor more often than you thought possible, and this will happen all the time. Many times even in the same day. Pat on the shoulder don’t define the success of your company, you should know why and what you’re doing and most importantly make it happen and work without losing focus.

What advice would you give other emerging entrepreneurs? Understand that failure is part of the way and somehow makes every failure become a victory , through an apprenticeship or a change that will lead to better results. Don’t stop believing in what you’re doing but don’t become a fool, keep an open mind and find balance. It’s OK you don’t know everything, and you will find every week that you know even less than what you thought you knew before, but always act with confidence because security isn’t knowing everything, it’s to be clear about why you’re doing it and where you’re heading. Make things happen, be the change in actions and not just what you say, don’t expect the opportunities to come, go find them, your “luck” factor increases proportionally when there are two factors increasing in the same direction: what you say and what you do. Make it happen!
