Organization Website: www.bwareit.com

Brief Description of Organization: Bwareit is an American-Israeli startup that develops a “BrighTap” water meter module and WADP- Water quality and consumption analytic data platform (includes app and web services). The purpose of the BrighTap is to inform online the water quality and help the user to reduce water bills. It provides water quality and consumed water quantities data (water quality index, liters/gallons, temperature, costs, etc.) at any given moment in a simple and clear way on the product’s display. The data can be tracked via Data services.

What inspired you to start this organization? Bwareit is a water-mindful team. We realized that a fresh-water crisis exists not only in our region, but all over the world. Households and organizations face it in California, Flint Michigan, and Singapore. The common questions are:

  • Is this water safe to drink and to use?
  • How many liters are needed to wash a cup? to take a shower?

Bwareit’s target is to increase awareness of water consumption and water quality all over households and organizations.

What is the next big step you hope to help your organization reach?Bwareit will launch our Indiegogo pre-campaign during GES2016. A successful campaign will allow finalizing product development and launching the product in the market.

What has been your biggest obstacle as an entrepreneur? The point is not to think about obstacles but how to avoid them.

What advice would you give other emerging entrepreneurs? Believe in your idea and execute it, then there will be no obstacles.
