Description of Organization: At PRO Internacional we aim to provide our customers with a one-stop shop with services ranging from the design and development of websites and mobile apps with high levels of usability and features, to online marketing campaigns to help businesses become successful in the world wide web, and maintenance and support plans to keep sites always functional and up to date.

A warm, professional and multidisciplinary team is part of what distinguishes us and makes us unique. We strive to provide our clients the best advice, solving challenges in creative ways so that our customers may reach their goals.

What inspired you to start this organization? I believe companies help individuals grow. I wanted to create something that created opportunities for those who wanted to learn and work hard. I felt and still feel that the way to a better society is through creating value and jobs that cherish and help the individuals become better professionals and, why not, better persons. I feel that jobs that are meaningful are with companies that care about society and individuals encouraging people to give the best they can, for the benefit of themselves, their customers, and by transition to the society they live in.

What is the next big step you hope to help your organization reach? I would like to invest more time and resources in research and intra-entrepreneurship. In this sense, I am aiming to develop in the organization the capacities to be able to innovate with new small products and launch our own apps, sites or crowdfunding campaigns. This starts by empowering our employees to submit and dedicate a certain amount of time and company resources to new ideas. We are a young organization, and we strive to be always learning and innovating and so we feel this is the next step we need to take.

What has been your biggest obstacle as an entrepreneur? I would say my own fears and insecurities. Coming from a small country where failure is heavily penalized tends to make us very risk averse. While in some cases this may be helpful, in many others I feel it has stopped me and our organization from growing faster. Fear of being rejected while selling or looking for funding is also a big problem, but I think it can be overcome by thoroughly analyzing your value offering; and seeing what others are doing.

If people like you and I were able to grow amazing companies from nothing, what’s there to stop us?

What advice would you give other emerging entrepreneurs? Be grateful for the opportunity of doing what you enjoy in the way you think best. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Nourish your professional network. Make the best of every opportunity that presents itself. Don’t be afraid to knock on as many doors are necessary to either sell your product or idea or get funding. Try and learn from what successful people did, and do.

And most of all, be prepared to work hard, stumble and get up again.
