Recipe for Kale

A nutrious, savory and delicious side dish

Kale is one of my favorite sides. Even as a child, I loved it when my great grandmother made it with kale straight out of the garden. My Gran sometimes made it when I was staying with her; I stayed with her every summer from the time I was five years old. Unfortunately for me, my mother loathed the stuff; we never had it at home. Heck, I couldn’t even get spinach, one of my top faves, at home; my Gran kept single-serve cans of spinach in the cupboard just for me.
