About Us
Shaping The Future of Work is an initiative by various hubs that are members of The Global Shapers Community (a World Economic Forum initiative), to help prepare our communities for the changing work environment. The future of work is an important aspect of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs #8, #9 and #10). Spanning six continents, the initiative seeks to understand the perspectives and needs of young people about the future of work (FOW) to foster discussions and help identify regional and global roadmaps for how FOW will evolve. This will be followed by an action plan, community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for our volunteers to help us collectively prepare for the future.
