We’re recruiting extraordinary 20–29 year olds living in NYC, motivated to do good locally and/or globally to join the NYC Global Shapers.

The Global Shapers community was founded by the World Economic Forum (WEF) to give civic-minded people in their 20s a platform to coalesce, to give back to their community and to participate in decision-making at the global level (think Davos).

In the words of WEF, Global Shapers are “exceptional in their potential, their achievement, and their drive to make a contribution to their communities.”

What does being a Shaper mean? It means:

• immersing yourself in a community of extraordinary NYC-dwellers, building connections and having fun, while working together to make a difference in our local community
• access to the vast global WEF network and opportunities to attend WEF gatherings like these and regional Shapers gatherings like this.
