Under 30, Motivated, and Based in NYC? Join the NYC Global Shapers

Apply by March 15, 2016 at 11:59PM EST

It’s that time of the year again, and we’re searching for new members to join the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Hubs in NYC.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is an international institution committed to improving the state of the world through public-private cooperation. It convenes people from across the globe in many fora, and the Global Shapers Community is a network of worldwide hubs developed and led by young people who are “exceptional in their potential, their achievement, and their drive to make a contribution to their communities.”

Being a Shaper means immersing yourself in a community of extraordinary NYC-dwellers and working together to make a difference in our local community. Shapers are highly motivated individuals who have a great potential for future leadership roles in society. They are selected to join the hub, which is capped at 50 people, on the basis of their achievements, leadership potential, and commitment to make a difference. It also means access to the vast global WEF network and opportunities to attend WEF gatherings near and far. We’re a fun-loving, intellectually curious, action-oriented group — so come check us out.

Sound interesting?

Send this to anyone who you think fits the bill and apply here (https://www.globalshapers.org/apply) by 11:59pm EST on March 15, 2016.

Note that applicants to both NYC hubs — ‘New York’ and ‘New York II’ will be considered as part of a single recruiting process.
