Día de Muertos is not Mexican Halloween, it is a time for people to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. The celebration pays respects to late loved ones, honor their lives, and acknowledge the fragility of life.

The holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and people of Mexican heritage starts tonight, October 31 and ends November 2. It is increasingly celebrated in the US where there is a large number of Mexican Americans.

Do you celebrate it?
