Meet Samantha. She participated in These Numbers Have Faces Accelerate Academy in Rwanda, a program that aims to transform innovative ideas into sustainable businesses and uplift communities.

Samantha gained a life-changing insight through the academy:

“People taught us about how we are never too small to make an impact in people’s lives.”

After attending the academy, things started changing in Samantha’s life. She was offered an internship in the United States with Aspen Heights, where she developed a plan to launch her own business.

“Posh Creative is a footwear company that makes sandals. I started Posh Creative as a way of reaching out to vulnerable, jobless women who were willing to work very hard and earn a living and reach their financial independence.”

Samantha has a message for the women she now employs.

“Something I would tell the women I work with is how grateful I am for them. Now, we are Posh Family and we are so very excited for what is coming in the future.”
