She’s an advocate for evidence-based healthcare in India.
You know as soon as you meet Vasumathi that you have met a changemaker.
The committed leader of QMed Knowledge Foundation helps train young medical students on good practices. She told GlobalGiving what she loves about her job:
“I love teaching medical students and other health science students how to do their research right. Because I love teaching, that’s one thing, but more importantly I think if they learn it right, we’re going to go into evidence based healthcare—which is really the need not just for our country, but for the whole world.”
This is a story from GlobalGiving’s “Voices from the Crowd” series.
