GST Community Talks 3 — What’s Our Community Doing?

We opened up the floor to our global community again last week and gave our members a chance to present to the world some of the exciting things they’re working on in the world of tech. We gave each speaker 5 minutes to speak about the issues they’re facing and what they’re doing to address them. We also invited our community member Oscar to give advice on their pitches. Below are 4 summaries of some of our community members’ projects.

James — Vitabeam

We are a sci tech company that utilises a unique, patented technology utilising light wavelengths to provide a multitude of different benefits. Our technology is proven to increase food safety, reduce waste and produce healthier produce. We are a valued partner that creates longer shelf life for produce for grocery stores. We are currently looking for investment, commercial connections and marketing connections.

Ashish — VIDEOLLI

The global shift to virtual events on Zoom has created some issues. Free events present a security risk by using a work Zoom account. Free accounts have limited time. We created VIDEOLLI to make planning online events easier, more streamlined and safer.

Cediced — WezOn

There are a lot of difficulties in Africa looking for homes, with travel guides and finding reliable information online. We’ve made travelling in Africa easier through an online marketplace for homes, cars and travel guides. We are looking to onboard more suppliers so more people can use our platform.

David — Insurevite

Insurance has been a dying field — it’s confusing, considered a luxury and it’s hard to see the immediate benefit. We’ve made insurance more simple for the modern consumer, particularly millennials. We’ve created a cloud platform for everything insurance through messaging apps in a simple and secure interface. We’re going live in December 2020 and we’re looking for network introductions.
