DMNXT 2021 — Event Recap
DMNXT 2021 is now a done deal, and it certainly was a day to remember. Hosted under Globant’s homegrown next series of premium Web conferences, this yearly conference DMNXT is a medium for thought leaders in the digital marketing space to speak about cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
“Marketing to Digital Natives” served as this year’s theme for the event.
There was a fantastic keynote, four sessions that spotlighted emerging strategies and latest innovative technologies to level up marketing efforts, and over more than 100 attendees.
If you weren’t able to make it to the event, we have some highlights of the day just for you.
The event kicked off with an opening keynote by Shivraj Sabale, India Head at Globant.
In today’s changing digital landscape, what are the industry and customers truly seeking?
Shiv explained that the industry today is looking for partners who can transform their business and find new value for their customers. That said, in order to stay relevant in the coming years, it is of utmost importance for organizations to become augmented and provide end-to-end solutions that can drive new age technology.
Kuljeet Kaveeshwar, Technical Director of the Digital Marketing Studio at Globant, opened up the conference by sharing some introduction on the studio, and the event.
This was followed by the first session on ‘Ad Targeting in The Cookie-less World.’ Darshan Radia, Head of Digital Development, Ad Tech at Singapore Press Holdings mentioned 1st party data to be GOLD in the new privacy-first world. He discussed the death of third-party cookies, and its impact, challenges, possible solutions and business opportunities for publishers, advertisers, and AdTech.
In the next session on the ‘Use of Customer Journey Maps to improve Customer Experience’, Kulwinder Singh, CMO at SG Analytics, talked about how to make customer experiences a competitive advantage. He deep-dived on the different moments that a prospect customer experiences, and how marketers can become relevant to tap into these complex “wants and needs” in real-time.
Next up, we had some interesting technical sessions around Customer Data Platforms delivered by Globant’s very own Fahad Shaikh and Geofencing for Marketing Analytics by Raghvendra Kulkarni, and Vicky Khobragade.
To add to the day’s conversation, there were also some engaging questions that were answered in detail by the speakers.
