The Fundraising Committee is building a grassroots funding base around the support and dedication of the GlobeMed alumni community, empowering GlobeMed to pursue its mission free from the constraints and often-misaligned values of the philanthropy industry.
Meet your Fundraising Committee Co-Chairs:
Jeremy Harding
alum of University of Rochester, he served his chapter as Director of Community Building and then as Co-President. After graduating, Jeremy spent two years as a Project Coordinator with 2Seeds, a human capital development organization based in Korogwe, Tanzania. He is currently working in New York City as a Strategic Partnerships Assistant with Global Health Corps, working on partnership building and resource mobilization.
John Weatherly
alum of Loyola University Chicago, where he served as GlobeMed at Loyola’s GROW coordinator for several years. Since graduating in 2012, he has worked for several technology-oriented healthcare organizations, including Health Leads, a social enterprise that works with healthcare providers on addressing patients’ social needs. He currently lives in Chicago and works for Emmi, a technology company focused on patient engagement.
