In May 2023, my family and I embarked on a memorable trip to Greece.
We had the incredible opportunity to explore the picturesque islands of Santorini and Mykonos. We saved the jewel of our adventure, Athens, for last.
There are direct flights from Athens to the United States, so we were able to spend a few nights in this historic city before returning to the US.
Athens is renowned for its renowned ancient remains and iconic architectural landmarks. It holds the esteemed title of being the birthplace of democracy and the cradle of European civilization.
Athens is also home to the Acropolis, which represents the earliest form of a modern society in Europe. One of the highlights of our Athens visit was our tour of the Acropolis.
