Discover the charming, historic city of Feldkirch, Austria
Situated in the westernmost tip of Austria, Feldkirch is a historic charming old town part of Vorarlberg State of Austria.
This charming town is located on the banks of the Ill River, at the foot of the Schattenberg mountain. Feldkirch has a long history, dating back to the Roman era.
This building is an example of Baroque architecture and was built in the early 18th century. It is one of the oldest buildings in Feldkirch and has been well-preserved over the years.
Today, the city is a popular tourist destination, known for its medieval fortress, beautiful scenery, and vibrant cultural scene.
There are a few towers like this image above that I am pointing out in the photo. The tower serves as the lookout during the war. My husband is from this town. When we walk around the town, he is familiar with many people as the town population is not as big as in Singapore.
